Before launching DK Law Group, Julie served as a Senior Associate General Counsel and later Senior Managing Attorney General Counsel for one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. In her role as in-house counsel, she defended first-party residential property lawsuits, gaining invaluable insight into insurance litigation from the inside out—experience she now leverages to fiercely protect clients.
Julie focuses her practice on Business Litigation, Real Estate, Civil Litigation, and Estate Planning. She is known for her strategic, results‑driven approach to resolving disputes while preserving the relationships and assets her clients have worked hard to build.

In addition to her work with business owners, Julie also represents individuals and non‑business clients in contract disputes, ensuring they receive strong advocacy and clear guidance when facing unfair, misleading, or burdensome contractual claims.
Mindful of the financial and operational strain litigation can impose, Julie works proactively with clients to negotiate resolutions and avoid costly outcomes whenever possible. Her balanced approach—strong advocacy paired with strategic risk management—helps clients protect their interests while maintaining momentum in their businesses and personal affairs.
Her bilingual fluency in Spanish and her Dominican heritage enrich her ability to connect with diverse clients and communities. She is a passionate advocate for equity and access to justice and previously served as President of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association.
Julie earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, where she was a member of the Nova Law Review. She began her legal career in 2012 and continues to champion her clients with integrity, strategy, and heart.
Julie earned her B.S. in Finance from Dominican University in New York.
